INTRODUCTION TO THE EVENT
Enjoy a licensed bar and live music entertainment on 26th, 27th & 28th May, specifically for those staying onsite. As the site is so spacious you can choose to either be close to the entertainment or, if you prefer, to stay on a more tranquil plot; allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Friday 26th May 7.15pm – 8.00pm, 8.15pm – 9.15pm and 9.30pm – 10.30pm: Ross McWhirter – Acoustic covers from the 60s to present day.
Saturday 27th May 7.15pm – 8.00pm, 8.15pm – 9.15pm and 9.30pm – 10.30pm: The RADs – a high energy pop/rock/indie duo spanning everything from the 60s to present day.
Sunday 28th May 7.15pm – 8.00pm, 8.15pm – 9.15pm and 9.30pm – 10.30pm: Counterfeit Celts – Irish, Scottish, Country and Rock n Roll.
A catering unit will be present for the duration serving breakfasts followed by a variety to suit everyone from burgers through to fish and chips. For those wishing to BBQ there is a shop and butchers within walking distance in Rillington or a short drive to an award-winning farm shop.
Scampston Hall is an excellent base from which to explore the landscapes and attractions of Yorkshire’s wolds, moors, and coastline; Scarborough, Filey and Whitby are all within easy reach. Nearby lies the market town of Pickering, home to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway; an 18-mile line passing through breath-taking scenery.
Also, you can find Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum at Malton, Playdale Farm Park at Cayton, Piglets Adventure Farm near York, Flamingo Land Park & Zoo, Dalby Forest with Go Ape and its many walks and cycle tracks, North Yorkshire Water Park, Sea Life Centre Scarborough, Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Grounds, Wolds Way Lavender and the ancient city of York with its museums and many other attractions.
North Yorkshire is the largest county in England packed with two National Parks, charming market towns, quaint villages and of course one of the most spectacular coastlines in the country; all well worth visiting.
Facilities: portable toilets, elsan points, electric hook-up (if prebooked) and catering unit. Also licensed bar and live music entertainment on selected evenings.

This site has no onsite shower facilities.
Electric pitches are pre-marked and are 8 metres x 9 metres. Please contact us if you require a bigger pitch.

VISITOR INFORMATION
Site opens midday on Thursday 25th May to pre-booked campers and closes at 10am on Tuesday 30th May
Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead
Electric hook-up pitches are pre-allocated (please contact us at time of booking if you wish to be next to another specific camper)
Evening entertainment (26th, 27th & 28th May only): The stage will be a covered 40ft articulated trailer. Bands will perform as follows: 7.15pm – 8.00pm, 8.15pm – 9.15pm and then 9.30pm – 10.30pm. Campers would need to bring their own chairs. The licensed bar will be a gazebo serving to people outside
A catering unit will operate for the duration of the pop-up campsite offering breakfast items followed by a variety to suit everyone from burgers through to fish and chips
BBQs are permitted. Disposable BBQs must not sit directly on the ground. Open fires are not permitted (this includes fire pits, buckets, chimineas and grates)
The entrance to the campsite will be locked daily at 11.30pm and will then reopen at 7.30am. You will need to inform us should you require access between these times. Otherwise vehicles will need to be parked at the side of road
