INTRODUCTION

An introduction to the event…
Established for over 30 years the Cheshire Steam Fair is one of the main steam events in Cheshire.

The venue, at Daresbury near Warrington, has excellent road access from the M56 and M6 motorways.

Performing in the main arena will be the Adrenaline Tour featuring Jason Smyth. The display consists of motorcycle and quad street style stunts. It also features quad freestyle jumps over 70ft whilst catching items held 30ft in the air.

Also performing in the main arena will be the popular Ridgeside Falconry and the Ridgeside Lurchers Racing Team.

Performing over the two days live on stage will be the Crazy Bears. Come and join Smarty, Rocky, Candy, Honey, Popsy, Sweet Tooth and Mr Keiron for a fun-packed extravaganza for the whole family. These six bears will entertain you with singing, dancing and magic tricks at various times over the full 2 days of the event including meet & greet sessions in-between their performances.

Wall of Death

The Greatest Show on Earth. The Oldest surviving Wall of Death in the UK.

wall of death1 2016

The Wall of Death has been synonymous with speed and danger since its conception back in the early part of the 20th century. The Original Wall of Death harks back to those early days, with the Wall being constructed in 1929, and the bikes, Indian Scouts, made in 1928.

Established by Eddie Monte on the Pat Collins fairs in the 1930s, the Original Wall of Death is now owned and run by Ken Fox. All those who see the show will remember it for the rest of their life. The noise, the speed, the smell, the proximity of the bikes being ridden to the top of the wall, barely 6 inches from the audience – an experience never to be forgotten!

Ridgeside Falconry and Lurcher Racing

Ridgeside Falconry are one of the largest mobile Falconry display teams in the Country providing County Shows, Carnivals, Fairs and Special Event Days with an outstanding Falconry display.
